1) For getting rid of pimples, take a quarter cup of cold milk, few drops of rosewater, mix finely crushed Quaker oats. If you want, you can add a pinch of turmeric powder to it too. Apply on face for 10 to 15 minutes, don’t rub on your skin. Wash your face with cold water and spray medicated rose water on your face. If your skin is normal to dry then you can use yogurt instead of milk.

1) Take1tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp orange juice, 1 tbsp carrot juice, half tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp yeast (khameera) & half tbsp yogurt, mix and apply on your face for half an hour. Then wash your face with rosewater. Do this daily.
2) For skin blemishes, you can try rubbing a raw potato on your face.
3) Dip a piece of cotton wool in unboiled milk and wipe on the face with it. It also cleans unseen dirt and goes down to pores.

1) Take 1 cup buttermilk (chhaaj). Add a crushed flower of jasmine (chambeli ka phool) and heat it on low flame. Cool it in the fridge. Apply twice daily on the face for half an hour and wash it off with rosewater.
2) Tomato juice to which a few drops of lime juice has been added. Apply on open pores for 20 minutes. Wash with cold water.

Any sweet tasting herbs can be used to freshen the breath, so choose the taste you like the best:
1) For a ‘quick fix’ keep cardamom seeds handy. When required chew them for a while. You can also add cardamom seeds to herbal teas.
2) Make a mixture of fresh mint, lemon juice, rosemary or coriander, and a little cinnamon in a cup of boiling water. This tea can be drunk at the end of a meal or used as a mouthwash when cool.

1) In a bucket of water, add a piece of alum (phitkari) and a few drops of rosewater. Take a bath with this water everyday.
2) Use deodorants or anti-perspirants regularly especially in your underarms immediately after a bath or apply talcum powder in under-arms, feet and the pubic area.

4) Take coriander, cinnamon, rosemary, cumin and fennel. Boil then leave to cool and use as a wash. Or tie them into a muslin (malmal) cloth and add to your bath water.

1) Take 1 bottle of almond oil and heat it up. Add 2 to 3 tbsp fenugreek seeds (methi daana) to it and store it. Before using, heat this oil again. Take some of the oil as much you want to apply to your hair ( a quarter cup will be enough) and mix 2-3 drops of apple-cider vinegar, 1 crushed clove of garlic, 1 inch piece of ginger (crushed) and a pinch of black pepper into the oil. Massage it well on your scalp, leave it overnight and wash your hair in the morning with a mild shampoo, preferably a baby shampoo.
2) Avoid hair style accessories like blow dryers, gels, sprays and harsh colors.
3) Manage stress with relaxation techniques like Yoga and Meditation.
4) Eat healthy nourishing food.
Colour Me Red:Dr.Khurram Mushir Tips
1) For shiny and strong nails, soak your hands in garlic water for 15 minutes everyday.
2) No matter WHAT household chore you do, wear gloves. Immersing your nails in water, dish soap and household chemicals is one of the worst things that you can do for them.
3) Try the chamomile soak.
4) Take 1 tsp coffee powder, 1 tbsp raw chocolate (melted) or chocolate powder, 1 tsp brown sugar and make a paste by adding some rose water. Apply this paste on your nails for half an hour.

1) Take half kg fresh rose petals and add 1 liter distilled or mineral water. Simmer it gently for 15 minutes on low flame. Pour 1 tsp almond oil and sprinkle 3 or 4 drops of the tincture of benzoyn. Pour this concoction into a bottle, keep it in the refrigerator and spray on your face daily.
2) Soak some bread slices (sides only),1 stalk of a herb mulethi (optional) or sandalwood, pinch of saffron and few drops of almond oil in milk cream. Leave it overnight. In the morning, take a small piece of muslin (malmal). Put the whole paste-like-mixture onto the cloth, fold all sides and rub on your face daily. Make fresh mixture everyday.
3) Grate carrot and boil. Massage that mixture to body to get fair and smooth skin.
Say Bye to Unwanted Facial Hair:Dr.Khurram Mushir Tips
1) Apply gum of the rubber-plant on the hairy part of your face and leave for half an hour. Wash and spray rosewater.
2) Get your face hot-waxed after every 15 days. It will weaken the roots of hair.

1) Heat up arnica oil, add a few drops of apple-cider vinegar and apply and massage well on your scalp and hair. Leave it overnight and wash it in the morning with an anti-dandruff shampoo containing zinc pyrithione.
2) Apply yogurt and egg mixture onto your hair and scalp. Leave it for at least half an hour and wash it with an anti-dandruff shampoo.

1) Drink one glass of lukewarm water with 1 tsp honey and juice of a lemon every morning before breakfast.

1) To prevent wrinkles and soften your skin, you could try pure castor oil; it is known to slow down the aging process of the skin.
2) Apply moisturizer regularly.
3) Apply egg yolk once in a week for 10 minutes.

1) Apply potato juice to the dark circles with a cotton ball. Leave till it dries.
2) Close your eyes and put big round slices of cucumber over your eye-lids in such a manner that it covers the dark circles. Leave them there for at least half an hour
3) Wear sunglasses before going out in the sun.
4) Drink lots of water and lukewarm milk with a pinch of turmeric powder in it.
5) Crush one plum or cheeko, add half tsp glycerin and half tsp pearl powder. Mix and apply on dark circles for 15 minutes regularly.
